The optimal time depends on the building's orientation and desired mood. East-facing facades photograph best in morning golden hour; west-facing facades in late afternoon. The "blue hour" — 20–30 minutes after sunset — is ideal for buildings with strong interior lighting, creating a natural balance between interior glow and exterior sky.
