Barry & Julie Harley
— Architecural, Commercial and Editorial photographer
Barry Harley is a Northern Virginia based photographer specializing in Architecture, Interiors, Product, Food and Portrait photography. Barry graduated from the International Fine Arts College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and one heck of a tan. Capturing spaces and people to reveal the details that tell the story is his passion.
Barry’s photographs have appeared in Open House magazine and Arlington Magazine. Barry’s work has also been featured in the Hollywood Reporter as well as the South Florida Sun-Sentinel for his documentary, Virginia Key Beach, which explored the history the beach and its future potential. His involvement in the project contributed to the local community’s effort to bring awareness to the $40 million project to restore it. Barry and his family currently reside in Ashburn, VA.
He has 21 years of experience as a photographer/graphic designer and has held the post of Creative Director at EYCH2 for the past 17 years.
Julie Nicole Harley is a graduate of Edna Manley School of Visual Arts and obtained a Certificate in Supervisory Management from the Institute of Management Production -both in Jamaica. Therefore, it’s fair to say that Julie spent her youth applying gallons of sunblock and wearing wide brimmed hats. With more than 24 years of experience in pre-press technology in offset, digital and graphic design, she is a veritable pre-press technician guru. She also makes a mean lychee-tini.
